Reef is creating a list of stores in Kirkland that are dog friendly. Of course Barkz is but here is a list we've gathered so far that you can take your dog into - as long as there is no leg lifting!

Stores that allow all sized dogs:
Sur la Table, Koap Home, Promesse, Eye Associates, Sterling Bank, Eastside Trains, Park Lane Galleries, MuShoe, Howard Mandeville Gallery, Via Lago, MuShoe, Design Within Reach, Diamond St. Jewerly, Ubrdo.

Stores that allow small dogs:
Ragamuffins, Seduce, Bella Bambini, Serendipity, Romy

Restaurants that allow dogs on their patios:
Grape Choice, Market St. Grill, Hectors, Trellis and Vovina.

Hotels that are Dog Friendly!

Right here in Kirkland - the Heathman Hotel is dog friendly. If you're traveling to Whistler for some skiing or biking - Reef recommends the Four Seasons. They provided healthy treats and a comfy bed. When traveling to Portland - Hotel Monaco is the place to be. They provide pet sitting, and your dog can come into the lounge and have a martini with you. Traveling to Hood River for some windsurfing? Check out the Hood River Hotel. It's close to the beach and Dog River Coffee Company! If you're traveling cross country on a plane and you need a carrier - drop into Barkz as we have all the bags and information for in cabin plane travel with your dog.

Kenmore Air is Dog Friendly!

In March, Reef took her first float plane ride up to Salt Spring. She had a little difficulty getting in and out but loved the one hour ride. She sat in the back in her own seat! The whole staff at Kenmore Air were wonderful to her. We highly recommend them for island hoping with your dog.
